Experimental Aircraft News Magazine - The Slipstream GENESIS is a roomy modern, two-place, side-by-side seating aircraft, which can be supplied with either dual yoke controls or center mounted stick. Power is supplied by the 65 HP Rotax 582 two stroke, Solo configuration, take-off roll is approximately 100 feet, with a 250 foot landing roll. Climb rate comes in at over 1,000 feet per minute. The GENESIS comes equipped with dual 10-gallon wing tanks which provide gives the craft a four hour of cross-country.

With an average empty weight of 595 lbs., the GENESIS equipped with the standard Rotax 582 has a useful load of 605 lbs. Purchase any of the larger optional powerplants, and the gross weight capability increases to 1320 lbs., providing for an even larger useful load. Still not enough?
The all new HD option is the answer, with a "beefed up" airframe capable of safely carrying up to 1600 lbs. and an unbelievable useful load envelope of over 800 lbs.!
The GENESIS kit will take about 400 hours to complete with all of the welding and fabrication done for you. The Genesis manuals are clearly written with easy step by step instructions, and numerous photos, including illustrations and CAD drawings, so even a novice builder can be up and flying in no time.
