Experimental Aircraft News Magazine - Surveyor tandem seating light sport aircraft from World Aircraft Company. Dan Johnson talks to Eric Giles of World Aircraft Company about his company’s latest lightsport aircraft the Surveyor.
The Surveyor is a tandem seating, all metal, high wing tricycle gear LSA. It was originally designed and built over 10 years ago. World Aircraft is re-introducing a new and improved version of the Surveyor.
The latest version of the Surveyor LSA is powered by the Rotax 912 series of aircraft engines. It is equipped with the latest in avionics and is being sold in both kit and ready to fly versions.
The craft climbs out at gross at over 1,000 feet per minute, cruise is a comfortable 100 mph, and stall with flaps comes in at under 30 mph.
